The tenacious debut success of Follow Suit in the opening 6f novice auction meant that little bit extra to trainer Clive Cox on the day his former stable star Kodi Bear sired his first winners.

Follow Suit, whose dam Malilla was also trained by Cox, battled back admirably to deny favourite Cuban Dancer and seal a second victory for Kodi Bear, just 20 minutes after the David O'Meara-trained Campachoochoo struck first for the sire at Chelmsford.

Liam Keniry's mount scored by a short head and emulated her half-brother Golden Force by winning at two.
