Richard Fahey looks to have a useful juvenile prospect on his hands as Space Traveller shrugged off a penalty and a step down in trip to land the novice contest in eye-catching fashion.

The son of Bated Breath, who went off at 30-100 to follow up his Doncaster debut success, was pulled off the rail by Danny Tudhope and made light work of his four rivals to land the 5f novice contest by a comfortable three and a half lengths.

Space Traveller, who showed signs of inexperience at the start, has an entry for the Group 2 Al Basti Equiworld Gimcrack Stakes at York next month and has pleased Fahey with his progress and work at home.
