Jane Elliott is close to having her claim reduced to 3lb after riding her 47th winner of her career on Laith Alareen in division one of the 5f handicap.

After steering the 14-1 chance home at the expense of Revenge, the busy Elliott was off to make the 105-mile dash to Carlisle where she was booked to ride in the 5.45.
