Easy for Trouble as Bailey hurdler wins in Jockey Club silks

A bumper half-term crowd turned up in pleasant spring sunshine at the Jockey Club-owned Huntingdon, where Hes No Trouble, who runs in the black and gold colours of the Jockey Club Ownership Group (south west), stuck to the script by landing the 2m novices hurdle.

The well-backed 15-8 chance made all under David Bass for a stylish win. He looked to have all bases covered when victory was handed to the six-year-old after main challenger and market leader Anytime Will Do all but came down at the last but for a miraculous recovery from Harry Skelton.

Similar to when Kim Bailey's runner last made the track at Warwick, around 20 members of the syndicate turned out to cheer the up-and-coming hurdler home.
