Easy for Espoir who enhances his Triumph credentials with cosy win

Espoir D'Allen still sits behind the fellow JP McManus-owned Apple's Shakira in the JCB Triumph Hurdle market, but there is no doubting he is Ireland's leading hope for the race after extending his unbeaten run in straightforward fashion in the Grade 2 Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle.

It was round two of Espoir D'Allen v Mitchouka after their Fairyhouse mismatch and once again it was Gavin Cromwell's charge who came out on top, although this time it was French recruit Farclas who got closest to him.

Paddy Power left Espoir D'Allen unchanged at 15-2 for the Triumph Hurdle, while BoyleSports were content to offer a best-priced 10-1, while introducing Farclas at 20-1.
