Henry Ponsonby was a winner again on Betfred Ebor day but he was cursing the BHA after scoring with Scarlet Dragon.

His First Mohican missed the cut by just one for the feature event, which Tiger Cliff won in his colours three years ago, and raced instead at Chester, where he was beaten around three lengths into fourth place in a Listed handicap.

And the syndicate organiser said: "It is the worst travesty in racing. Hollie Doyle could have claimed 7lb in the Ebor but she is not allowed to claim at Chester as it is a Listed handicap. If it was jumping at Cheltenham she could claim.
