Kerry Lee breathed a huge sigh of relief as Happy Diva and Sir Will put the trainer in the headlines for all the right reasons when scoring a double for the yard.

The victories came at the end of a “rubbish” week for Lee, having been fined £3,000 by stewards at Chepstow on Wednesday under the ‘non-triers’ rule after Kings Monarch was beaten 21 lengths, with the horse banned for 40 days and rider Jamie Moore suspended for 14.

Then at Ludlow on Thursday Lee saddled Tree Of Liberty, who was beaten at 1-20, the shortest-priced loser over jumps for more than 100 years.
