It was a day to remember for local trainer Sandy Forster who ran three of the five horses she has in her stables and came back with two first prizes, courtesy of Lowanbehold and Charlie Snow Angel.

In an agonising finale Forster, who trains just five miles from the track at Yetholm, narrowly missed completing a fabulous treble when Lastin’ Memories was pipped by a nose.

“There’s been some good days a long way back but I’m not sure we’ve ever had a day as good as this one,” said the trainer’s partner Clive Storey.
