There are many reasons why jump racing is so popular. The biggest reason is the horses and, in particular, horses like Cue Card.

At Wetherby on Saturday the star attraction was a chaser who seems to have been around forever, but in reality has been around for only nearly forever.

He was expected to win the Bet365 Charlie Hall Chase, and despite not doing so, his legion of fans are justified to believe the great one's star may not have waned.
