Donald McCain fires out another double as he waits for serious action to start
It's still the phoney war stage of the jumps season but Donald McCain is firing plenty of live ammunition.
A double through the Brian Hughes-ridden pair Sonic and Dear Sire made it 31 winners already in 2018-19 for a trainer who acknowledges it will be a while before the really serious battles start.
"They go on about the meeting at Chepstow coming up being the start of the season but it's not," he said.
