Ding Ding's third course win has owner singing West's praises

Sheena West came in for the most glowing of testimonials after Marc Goldstein had brought Ding Ding from off the pace to beat Cobolobo in the 2m4f handicap hurdle.

It was the diminutive mare's third course win this season and locally-based Ian Poysden, a one-horse owner who sponsors at Plumpton and had brought some pals along, could not have been more pleased.

Poysden, whose company IP Financial are based in nearby Brighton, said: "I'm very lucky to have a trainer like Sheena and I couldn't wish for better. She never runs them unless they are absolutely on the money, and I don't know why more people don't have horses with her."
