Debutant Don Jupp repays confidence of Marco Botti and footballer owners

Marco Botti has waved goodbye to some of his old faithfuls, such as Aljazzi and Raven's Lady, but he was given hope some of his three-year-olds might step up to take over.

That was after an impressive winning debut from Don Jupp in the mile novice under a confident ride from Daniel Muscutt.

The American-bred colt is the latest owned by footballer Claudio Pizarro and some of his Bundesliga team-mates under the Gute Freunde Partnership.
