Davis can breathe easy as Star Foot makes hay

Hayfever is a pain in the backside, just ask trainer Jo Davis. Not only does she suffer from the vast quantity of tree pollen that floats around in the air at her base at East Garson but so do her horses.

However, Davis and her team have taken steps to address the issues for the horses. For her, it is merely a case of dosing up on as many antihistamines as possible and always having tissues handy.

“Every year at this time of year even people who have never had hay fever are affected by it,” Davis said. “I’m suffering. It’s vile and it’s wearing.
