Dan Skelton stayed at home for a family 34th birthday get-together and kicked off the celebrations early with a double in the first two races.

The brace, both ridden by his brother Harry, kicked off when Goodthyneaway landed the odds in the opening 2m4½f handicap chase.

Just as for his previous win at the track, the 8-11 favourite was cheered on by a big turn out from the Rio Gold Racing Club, who own the six-year-old.
