Fourth course win for star Pick A Little

Brighton has always been a 'horses for courses' type of track, and Pick A Little was on target for a fourth time, and a 16th in all, when getting the better of Wordismybond in a fast-run 7f handicap.

On an afternoon on which there were 16 non-runners, all but one on account of ground that had eased to soft, good to soft in places following 8mm of rain in the morning, trainer Michael Blake walked the course beforehand.
