Catterick winners have been no problem for Archie Watson – who hopes that his latest could be good enough to run at Royal Ascot.

Shumookhi was just the third horse he'd sent on the 234-mile trip up from Lambourn and she returned as his second winner, having held off Society Queen by a neck in the novice auction stakes.

And the go-ahead trainer, in just his second full season with a licence, is now eyeing the royal meeting with the first horse he's trained for Saeed Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi.
