Course specialist Enough Is Enough never has enough of it here
It was the final Flat fixture at Gowran Park for 2016 and if Paddy Meany peered into the stable of Enough Is Enough last night, he might have witnessed the nine-year-old mare bawling her eyes out.
Enough Is Enough has never won anywhere else but Gowran and her victory in the 7f handicap was her fifth at the venue. What makes the achievement all the more amazing was that four of those victories have come in 2016 and they were all in the 45-65 grade. Now that is surely a first.
With all that in mind, it is hardly surprising to hear Meany say afterwards that the plan is to put her away for the winter and come back to Gowran next season.
