Next Thursday is an anniversary that jockey Connor Beasley won't be celebrating as it will be exactly a year since he suffered a horrific fall at Wolverhampton which left him with severe injuries including a fractured skull and bleeding on his brain.

He didn't ride for the rest of the season, but a year on, he is in full swing once again and he showed he has lost neither his nerve nor his ability when coming from last to first to land the 5f handicap on My Name Is Rio for trainer Michael Dods.
