Donnacha O'Brien is not going to be handed another jockeys' championship, that's for sure. He will have to fight hard to defend his crown as 2017 champion Colin Keane is setting a scorching pace and stretched his lead to 12 thanks to a double on Inscribe and Nickajack Cave.

The Royal County Premier Handicap, worth €50,000 in prize-money, was the highlight of Keane's afternoon as he produced the inexperienced Nickajack Cave with a perfectly timed challenge to deny favourite Pensylvania Avenue.

There could be another big pot in Nickajack Cave too, according to trainer Ger Lyons.
