Classy Mitchum Swagger struts his stuff on drop in grade

After a long winless spell, Mitchum Swagger has got his groove back.

It took a drop in class and the application of cheekpieces, but David Lanigan's stable star gained a first victory since September 2015 when proving a class apart in the 7f conditions stakes.

Tried at Group 1 level in the past, the five-year-old picked up well off a strong pace to assert his dominance in the closing stages under Tom Queally.
