Master The World and Sean Levey repeated their 2017 win in the Listed Betway Churchill Stakes to banish the blues of some recent woes.

Levey, who won the 1,000 Guineas on Billesdon Brook in May, had sat out the last four months until earlier this week after a fall at Salisbury in June.

His veteran partner has struggled on "atrocious ground" on the turf in recent months and showed his appreciation for a return to the sound and even Polytrack, coming with his customary late thrust this time to beat Big Country and favourite Addeybb in this fast-track qualifier.
