Noel Meade seldom disappoints during the Easter period and the Castletown-based handler yet again delivered the goods when Bel Ami De Sivola and Pat’s Pick landed a pair of valuable prizes.

Last seen finishing down the field in a valuable handicap chase at Leopardstown’s inaugural Dublin Racing Festival, Bel Ami De Sivola was well fancied to show his true colours in the 2m4½f novice handicap chase at Meade’s local track, which he duly did.

On welcoming back the Gigginstown House Stud-owned seven-year-old, Meade suggested a change of tactics had worked the oracle to land the €29,500 first prize.
