Chance flying visit pays off in double style for Adam Kirby

Adam Kirby, who claimed to have arrived only because he was offered a place in a plane, made the most of a rare visit to land a lucrative double.

And there could be an even bigger payday to come on the Richard Spencer-trained Keyser Soze, who booked his trip to All-Weather Championship Finals day at Lingfield by completing a hat-trick in the £45,000 7f handicap.

It was the 13-8 favourite's owner Phil Cunningham who tempted Kirby up with the offer of a flight, and the combination scored by a ready three-quarters of a length, after quickening impressively.
