Gosden notably started the wondermare Enable's career at Gosforth Park and elected to do the same with the daughter of Dubawi, whose dam is fellow star mare Dar Re Mi and is a sister to triple Group 1-winner Too Darn Hot.
She shaped with plenty of promise on her debut to take second but was no match for Godolphin second string Castlebar, who scored by one and a half lengths for Charlie Appleby and James Doyle. Appleby's Bandinelli was sent off the 9-4 favourite but could finish only sixth.
