The Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase has been something of a benefit for the Irish, not least Enda Bolger and JP McManus, and they added a potent second string to their bow when Cantlow warmed up with the handicap prelude.

Last year's winner and stablemate Josies Orders remains the short-priced favourite but Cantlow has been a much higher rated animal through his career and he will be a potent rival if the ground turns up rattling fast again.
