What a difference a couple of days make. Before racing on Sunday, Philip Hobbs had gone 13 days without a winner - now he's the hottest trainer in the last week of the jumps season.

After ending a mini-drought at Wincanton, he had a treble at Hexham on Monday and he kept the run going as Gumball landed the 2m novice hurdle here before Vodka All The Way scored at Exeter.

"I was on the cold list on Sunday morning," Hobbs said. "It just shows what it means and how things can change."
