Bigirononhiship outguns rivals to land thriller novice handicap chase
Rose Dobbin: has high hopes for Bigirononhiship
Bigirononhiship, a Western film phrase for a cowboy carrying a gun, came out on the right side of a straight shootout with Beau Bay in a thrilling climax to the 2m4f novice handicap chase.
The strapping Rose Dobbin-trained six-year-old marked himself down as a staying chaser of some potential as he rallied after being headed approaching the last to get up by a neck.
"We love this horse," said Dobbin, who trains the winner for her parents Duncan and Sarah Davidson.
