Richard Hannon's former assistant Tom Ward had big plans for 2020 – his first full season with a licence.

The Covid-19 pandemic has somewhat scuppered the early exchanges, but with Tintoretto's victory in the 7f handicap Ward got his first winner on the board since racing resumed.

Moving to a new yard in Lambourn is on the horizon and jockey Tom Marquand, who has known Ward from their early days together coming through the fabled Hannon academy, is certain Tintoretto can help add to the trainer's tally again this season.
