There is only one Queen at Steve Gollings' yard and that is Colony Queen, with the bargain buy sealing a fifth success from eight starts for the trainer in the feature 1m2f handicap.

The four-year-old, owned by David and Ros Chapman, was purchased for 9,000gns at Tattersalls in May last year and has proved a revelation.

Colony Queen has won on good to firm, good, heavy and Tapeta and defied a career-high mark to score by half a length under P J McDonald.
