George Baker has a nice problem to solve as he ponders whether to send Bowling Russian on his travels again or aim him at All-Weather Championships Finals day after his authoritative victory in the 6f handicap.

The three-year-old raced three times at Deauville during the summer, the highlight coming in a valuable claimer in July, and remained on an upward curve with a length-and-a-half success under Cieren Fallon, the first leg of a double for the jockey.

"He's been a greatly consistent horse and has picked up some decent prize-money," Baker said. "The family he comes from all improve with age and they're a good breeding line to be around.
