At it again: Rampant Elliott saddles another treble

Gordon Elliott rarely leaves Navan without at least one winner – and often several – and that was again the case when he brought his tally for the season in Ireland to 119 courtesy of a treble with Diamond Cauchois, Blow By Blow and Rapid Escape.

Rapid Escape completed a hat-trick of bumper wins when taking the five-runner Listed event by 11 lengths under Lisa O'Neill, following on from Elliott's three exceptional previous winners Don Cossack, Death Duty and Samcro.

Four-year-old Rapid Escape is a horse Elliott clearly likes and one he is already looking forward to going hurdling and chasing with.
