She's Notjoeking joined the dreaded 1.01 losers club when she was beaten at the Betfair Exchange basement price by Snapaudaciaheros in a dramatic finish to the 2m mares' handicap hurdle.

The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore-trained six-year-old looked set to make all when jumping the last hurdle three lengths clear. However, the race complexion completely changed in the closing stages.

She's Notjoeking idled under Conner McCann, and the Rebecca Menzies-trained Snapaudaciaheros snatched victory in the final 100 yards under Charlie Maggs.

The result was stinging for some punters as £15,764.62 was matched on She's Notjoeking at 1.01 on the Betfair Exchange.

Maggs told Sky Sports Racing: "It looked like the one who finished second had gone and won the race, but then my one really stuck her neck out and wanted to really try.

"She's probably won quite well in the end, and the one who came back to her probably helped. I quite fancied her coming into this."

Maggs doubled up aboard Gardener in the second division of the 2m4f handicap hurdle.

Richards strikes again

Nicky Richards did not make it nine winners in a row but he continued his red-hot form with Jamesieconn in the 3m handicap chase.

The 7-4 favourite took the Cumbria trainer's strike-rate in the last fortnight to a terrific 75 per cent.

Kicks in

Kicksaftersix improved his strong track record with a fifth course success in a dramatic 1m7½f handicap chase.

The 20-1 shot came out on top in a contest where over half of the field fell, unseated or were brought down, with the Martin Todhunter-trained veteran prevailing despite being short of room turning for home.
