A Case of beaming smiles as Kilbrew Boy gives Charlie first win under rules

The handicap chase for amateur riders at Wincanton is not one Charlie Case will forget in a hurry as it provided him with his first winner under rules on Kilbrew Boy.

Studying real estate at Oxford Brookes University, the 20-year-old son of trainer Ben Case was smiling from ear to ear after his victory.

He said: "I'm very, very happy, especially to ride for Lady Jane [Grosvenor], who has been with Dad since day dot. I thought I was going to be a rugby player when I was younger, but that soon changed and I love my pointing as well."
