100-1 stunner Lola's Theme sweet music for local owner David Lowe

For an owner there is nothing better than having a winner at your local track – that is unless your horse returns at 100-1 and you've backed it.

Lola's Theme, named after the chart hit by British house duo The Shapeshifters, was not only music to bookmakers' ears but also to David Lowe from nearby Wigan.

"I waited seven years for my first winner here before This Girl won at 20-1 last year and now I've had a 100-1 shot go in," said Lowe, who admitted to having a "little bit each-way" on a filly he owns with Russell Jones.
