After the hammer blow of being forced to retire from race-riding, Wilson Renwick is set to get right back into the saddle - the bike saddle.

The former jump jockey has not ridden in a horserace since a fall at Market Rasen in May last year left him with multiple injuries and has been told he will not recover full strength in his left arm.

So he is doing a Victoria Pendleton in reverse and swapping a jockey's silks for a cyclist's lycra.
