Images from the 22 racecourses that are part of The Racing Partnership (TRP) will be broadcast into almost 500 betting shops after the group signed a deal with the Bookmakers Technology Consortium (BTC).

The deal, which marks the first time the racing industry has sold media rights directly to the bookmaking industry, will see images from British racecourses broadcast in betting shops in the UK and Ireland from January.

At that time pictures, commentary and data will be provided from Doncaster, Lingfield, Windsor, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Worcester, before Fakenham, Hexham and Towcester are added in May 2017.
