Racing journalist Niall Cronin announced as new IHRB communications manager
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Body has appointed racing journalist Niall Cronin to the new position of IHRB communications manager.
Cronin, who has been racing correspondent of the Herald for the past 12 years, has been part-time press officer for the IHRB for the past year and will take up his new position on May 6.
Denis Egan, chief executive of the IHRB, said: “We are delighted that Niall is taking up the full-time position as our Communications Manager. He will be pivotal to the development of our communications strategy in the future”.
Cronin said: “I very much look forward to working with the Directors and Management of the IHRB in developing this new position. I will use my experience to implement changes in how important information is shared more regularly and promptly with the public.”
