Constitution Hill heads to Kempton on Wednesday evening for his second Flat start and Nicky Henderson has said it will be vital in plotting targets for the rest of the season. The likes of the Melbourne Cup and Ebor have been touted, but what are the most likely next options for Constitution Hill?

Given that Constitution Hill is bred as a jumper, connections will want to avoid running him through the summer on fast ground, so a good target in the spring looks a legitimate option. Henderson loves runners at his local track and this Group 3 contest could appeal given the likely underfoot conditions. Constitution Hill might have to face some of the top middle-distance horses making their comeback but would have a fitness edge after two all-weather runs.
