Punters reckon Joseph O'Brien can turn water into wine - but pulling off a big Scottish National gamble will test even him

The Aussies were in awe. "What he's done today is as close as you'll get to seeing someone walk on water," said leading Australian owner Lloyd Williams of Joseph O'Brien in the aftermath of their Melbourne Cup success together with Rekindling in 2017. 

At the tender age of 24, O'Brien was the youngest winning trainer in the history of the race and did it with the youngest winner of the race since 1941. 

Winning a first Coral Scottish Grand National with the joint-youngest horse in the race, who has not won a race for him yet, might not quite be walking on water. But it would be akin to turning water into wine.
