It’s almost time for the talking to stop as Constitution Hill, considered by many the greatest hurdler to have graced a racecourse, faces judgement day on the Flat.

The eyes of the racing world will be firmly focused on Kempton at 2.50pm when the nine-year-old tackles the Group 3 William Hill September Stakes, a race won by such luminaries as Enable and Kalpana.

Constitution Hill, awesome in landing the 2023 Champion Hurdle, is unbeaten in two starts since switching to the Flat, but he now enters uncharted territory against opponents of a much higher calibre.
