Is it Minnie Hauk, Whirl or one of the boys? Ballydoyle's Arc challenge may (or may not) be clearer after the Yorkshire Oaks
Minnie Hauk heads to York behind stable companion Whirl in the Arc's ante-post market

Temptation and the Garden Of Eden are not uncommon bedfellows but it is unlikely Ryan Moore considered jettisoning Minnie Hauk for Ballydoyle's second string in the Yorkshire Oaks. For Coolmore's retained rider, a much harder decision will likely have to be made in advance of the first Sunday of October.
As long odds-on favourite in a field of four, Minnie Hauk will be expected to post a handsome success in a contest Aidan O'Brien has farmed in recent years. It is also a race that has often been a springboard to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which is where the dual Classic winner will surely be heading following her Knavesmire appearance.
What is less clear now, and what might remain equally opaque after the Yorkshire Oaks, is where Minnie Hauk stands in her stable's Arc pecking order.
