Progressive Flat handicapper makes hurdling debut for Jamie Snowden and a hat-trick seeker at York
Punting pointers for Sunday's meetings . . .

Fontwell: Smooth sailing Snowden
Trainer Jamie Snowden has won with three of his five (60 per cent) runners at the Sussex track this season. He sends two more to compete from his stable, Cinnodin in the 2m3f maiden hurdle (2.42) and Mirror Of Illusion in the bumper (4.42).
Cinnodin makes his first start for the Snowden yard after switching from Richard Hughes and could make an immediate impact. The five-year-old had 28 starts on the Flat, winning six, and now turns his attention to a career over jumps.
Mirror Of Illusion is one of two unraced horses in the bumper, with Gavin Sheehan booked to ride. The jockey has a 22 per cent career strike-rate at the track with 61 winners, returning £24.26 to a £1 level stake.
Snowden said: "Cinnodin has been a progressive Flat horse and has jumped up the handicap ranks, but he's slotted into our system quite well and his jumping has been good. Hopefully, he should run well.
"Mirror Of Illusion is a well-bred individual who goes nicely at home and I'm very happy with her. Hopefully, she can run a big race."
York: Danger Bay's hat-trick bid
Ed Bethell-trained Danger Bay is on course for a hat-trick in the 1m2½f handicap (4.00).
On his first two starts in novice company, the New Bay colt finished second on debut more than a year ago, then third on his seasonal reappearance in May, with the runner-up that day going on to win next time.
He then broke his maiden on his third start before following up with a successful handicap debut, beating Wave Rider by a length and a quarter. Raised 5lb for that win, he could still have more to offer, particularly with the step up in trip.
Callum Rodriguez, who has ridden him on all four outings, is again booked.
York stat: Ruth Carr out to boost 50% strike-rate
From Ruth Carr's four winners (50 per cent strike-rate) in handicaps for three-year-olds and up at the track this season, she has returned £56.00 in profit to a £1 level-stake. She saddles Rousing Encore in the 5½f handicap (3.00) who was a 22-1 winner at the track in May.
