Oisin Murphy is operating at a 35 per cent strike-rate and rode seven winners at Doncaster - so who are his mounts on Monday?

Oisin Murphy fired in seven winners in two days at Doncaster's St Leger meeting and is looking to continue his relentless charge towards back-to-back British Flat jockeys' titles with four well-fancied rides at Kempton on Monday evening.

Murphy rode four winners on Doncaster Cup day on Friday for four different trainers, including Mallard Handicap winner Subsequent for Andrew Balding and Flying Childers scorer Revival Power for Tim Easterby.

He then landed a treble on St Leger day on Saturday, the highlight of which was the Balding-trained Marvelman in the Group 2 Park Stakes, to take his record in the last two weeks to 20 winners from 57 rides (35 per cent strike-rate).

With 117 winners on the board and a huge gap back to nearest pursuer Billy Loughnane on 83, Murphy is closing in on his fifth jockeys' title with less than five weeks of the championship to go.

Here, we assess his chances of stretching his seemingly unassailable lead further on Monday . . .

Flash Of Fire

Race 4.55 Kempton, 7f fillies' novice
Trainer James Ferguson
Form figures 1
Spotlight comment Justified favouritism in 7f contest at Doncaster, getting on top towards the line; evidently well regarded (holds two Group entries) and should be capable of progress; half-sister to two all-weather winners; respected
Betting forecast 11-4

Sax Appeal

Race 8.00 Kempton, 2m handicap
Trainer Charlie Johnston
Form figures 354131
Spotlight comment Landed a sixth win on Tapeta when making it 2-4 over this trip off 4lb lower last time; little room for manoeuvre off his revised mark and is 0-9 on Polytrack but he's reliable and should go well again under Oisin Murphy.
Betting forecast 6-4
