Ed Walker hoping handicapper can bow out in style on final run and Willie Mullins bidding to maintain fine record at Cork
Punting pointers for Sunday's meetings . . .

Cork: Henry de Bromhead hoping drop in trip sparks success
Trainer Henry de Bromhead has won two of the four races in which he has saddled a runner at the track this season.
He has one representative on the card, She’s A Fine Wine, who lines up in the 2m½f handicap chase (4.37). The seven-year-old recorded her first win over fences four starts ago, that success coming under Darragh O’Keeffe, who returns to the saddle here.
That victory came over 2m4½f at Kilbeggan, but her three runs since have seen the mare weaken in the closing stages, suggesting the drop in trip should suit.
Cork stat: Willie Mullins
The Closutton trainer has a 35 per cent strike-rate at the track (44-127) in the last five seasons. He has just one runner on the card, with Ronnie's Rascal making her debut in the 2m1½f academy hurdle (1.10).
Goodwood: Hafeet Alain bids to bow out in style
Ed Walker is hoping Hafeet Alain can end his career in style with victory in the feature £25,000 mile handicap (4.47).
The nine-year-old has not been seen since winning the final race on Sandown’s Brigadier Gerard Stakes card in May, having been a non-runner due to unsuitably soft ground in a £180,000 handicap at Ascot on Saturday.
Hafeet Alain will effectively be 9lb worse off than his Sandown success as George Downing replaces Jack Doughty, who claimed 3lb in that race, in the saddle.
“Life isn’t easy for him off a mark of 98 and we wanted to find the ideal spot for him to bow out with a big run,” said Walker.
Hafeet Alain is not the only runner who needs to defy a career-high mark to win as Alpha Crucis, who landed this race off 6lb lower last year, needs to reverse the form of last month’s course-and-distance defeat to topweight Cerulean Bay.
Goodwood stat: Charlie Appleby
The Godolphin trainer has won with both his runners in the 1m1f novice (4.12) in the last decade. This time he saddles Poseidon's Warrior.
