Oisin Murphy continued his unstoppable run of form with a four-timer at Ffos Las to cement his position at the top of the jockeys' championship.

Neenee's Choice broke his maiden over a mile to give Murphy his first winner of the day, swiftly followed by Valley Forge to land a quickfire double for trainer Andrew Balding.

Murphy went on to land the 7½f fillies' handicap with Siyata before the Rod Millman-trained Silent Flame made it four wins on the day in the 6f handicap.

Siyata's trainer, Roger Charlton, praised the skill of the champion jockey: "Having a jockey like Oisin helps a lot. For everybody, particularly sportsmen and women, when you have confidence you go very well, and he's obviously got lots of that at the moment, quite rightly.

"He doesn't panic, it was a cool ride and I don't think he picked his stick up on her. It was nice to watch and Oisin gave her an excellent ride in a race where there wasn't much pace."

Murphy now has 66 winners this season, six clear of Tom Marquand who landed a double at Wolverhampton.

On Siyata, who broke her maiden at her fourth attempt, Charlton added: "She's been working well at home and we were hopeful. It didn’t look like she was going to get there but luckily she did, so it's good news."
