A lucky punter scooped close to £32,000 from a £12.50 each-way accumulator across Saturday's big races at odds of 2,512-1.

The Betfair customer was off the mark with easy Silviniaco Conti Chase winner Pic D'Orhy at odds of 13-8 and also picked out successful Wetherby favourite Iroko. That leg was never in doubt as he won the 2m3½f handicap hurdle easily by 14 lengths.

Around eight minutes later the punter struck with 12-1 shot West Balboa in the 20-runner Lanzarote Hurdle. The Dan Skelton-trained runner held on to win by a short head at Kempton.

3.00 Warwick Iwilldoit (13.00) WON
3.15 Kempton Quick Draw (2.37) WON

A second winner at the same odds then followed as Iwilldoit landed the day's big betting race, the Classic Chase, at Warwick. He defied a 383-day break to record a memorable victory in the race.

The accumulator, which came across a 70-minute period, was paid out following the success of Quick Draw in the 2m4½f handicap chase at Kempton.

The Nicky Henderson-trained favourite won easily, meaning the customer was paid out £31,627.27 from his overall stake of £25.

'Well done to him'

Betfair spokesman Barry Orr said: "It was a whirlwind hour and ten minutes for the customer. To pick a couple of 12-1 winners with three short-priced winning favourites was inspired work. Well done to him."

Iroko, West Balboa, Iwilldoit and Quick Draw were all selections in the Racing Post's daily Spotlight Lucky 15 for Saturday, winning at odds of 342-1.

The success comes exactly a week on from another of the firm's customers pocketing a £40,000 payout.

The punter landed all four legs of a Lucky 15 across an evening card at Kempton and came close to scooping an additional £269,000 but the final leg of a five-fold was beaten.
