Prize Money victory sees sole punter miss out in final leg

Prize Money and George Wood win the Betfred November Handicap
1 of 1

Prize Money left Scoop6 punters out of pocket after his win in the Betfred November Handicap at Doncaster resulted in the bet rolling over for a fifth successive week.

The sole ticket that made it through to the final leg was carried by third home Cape Cova meaning a win fund of £362,915 and a bonus pot of £198,764 will go forward to next week.

Matt Hulmes, Totepool spokesman, said: "We were so close to writing a big cheque this week for the Scoop6 but were denied at the last.

"However, turnover was good taking the total funds to play for to more than £550,000 so we may be looking at combined pots approaching £700,000 for Cheltenham's Open meeting next Saturday."
