Your Sunday service as Elliott sends six into Troytown battle
It would not be a surprise if Troytown Chase day is one of the first days Gordon Elliott circles in the calendar every year, as he bids to win Navan's valuable handicap for a fourth consecutive season.
He has readied a squadron for the race, training six of the 22 runners, and it could be a big afternoon for the Ellliott yard, as the hugely exciting Samcro tackles 2m4f for the first time earlier on the card.
As well as Navan there is a pair of jumps meetings in Britain, with Exeter and Uttoxeter staging fixtures.

Final thought
Sunday started with a bang with the Japan Cup and it's the main racing day for Ireland and France. Uttoxeter and Exeter offer decent cards in Britain, but surely something could be done to boost the general fare.
