Worth giving The Worlds End a thought

Tom George has one Grade 1 in the book after Summerville Boy’s Supreme win on Tuesday. The performances of Black Op, who gave Samcro a race in the Ballymore, and God’s Own outrunning his 40-1 odds in the Champion Chase, suggests it is worth having a second look at The Worlds End in the Sun Bets Stayers’ Hurdle despite his overnight price of 33-1.

Remember, he was running a blinder in the thick of the action up front when falling two out in the Albert Bartlett last year. He picked himself up to win a Grade 1 at Aintree after.

Jack Kennedy has the Love back

Jack Kennedy is back where he deserves to be, riding festival winners. After his double on Samcro and Veneer Of Charm he will be brimful of confidence and just happens to partner Shattered Love in the JLT Novices' Chase that opens Thursday's proceedings. Kennedy has won all five times he has ridden the Gordon Elliott-trained mare.
