Congratulations, Willie, Paul and Patrick. This week belongs to you so it is fitting that at the end of it you should all be crowned champions.
The Closutton express is as well-oiled as ever, moving at a speed that seems surreal only for the fact we have seen it with our very own eyes. Rachael Blackmore and Jamie Codd tried to keep up, but eventually succumbed to the inevitable.
Punchestown is Willie Mullins' place of worship and Paul Townend knows that more than anyone. You can only imagine the pain barriers he burst through to be here. A nasty foot injury suffered on the Sunday of Fairyhouse's Irish Grand National meeting looked sure to end his season, yet here he is doing more uncanny impressions of Ruby Walsh on Chacun Pour Soi, Energumene and Galopin Des Champs.
